I was advised by a mentor that I should not, as much as possible, use my personal credit in getting a loan for my business. Business Loans should be made for the enhancement and expansion of the business and should not be used as a petty cash or pocket money of the owner. And vice versa, Personal Loans should be used for personal needs and not for business. Building a Business Credit can help a business especially if the company is using the product of the vendor. And that mentor was the former president of the company I have been working with twelve years as the president.
